First Things First

   Can a wife of almost 37 years,mother to 4 married kids with almost 10 grandkids write a blog..... Whatever would I talk about? I am not a writer,or a very good speller,and don't always know where those comma's go.......... But lets give this a try.

    I live in South Carolina....... this  time of year is wonderful, dogwood trees blooming, leaves returning, starting our flower and vegetable gardens...... and knowing that its ok to bring out the sandals, and capris.

    Just knowing summer is coming makes me so happy. See you can take the girl out of Florida, But you can't take Florida out of the girl!!!  

     I follow a few blogs and hope one day I can just get a few checking in on the "Purple Magnolia"

I am a born-agian Christian married to the same man I meet in the choir at our home church in 1970.We have raisied 2 boys now 35 and 33 and 2 daughters 30,and our last will be  29 tomorrow....HAPPY BIRTHDAY KARI!!!!!!!!!!!. With 9 grandkids under 8 and 1 coming in Aug, I am truly blessed.

      This house is pretty quiet right now. Dinner needs to be make for just us 2........I look back on those days of kids running in hungry, backpacks flying, shoes being kicked off, stories of their day and dinner around our kitchen table. But it is kinda nice just me and Papa.......for tonight..........
